Since our products are digital goods (Pay-as-you-go credit packages) that are delivered instantly and can be consumed immediately upon your request, all sales are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, we are committed to fair business practices and understand that technical issues can happen. This Refund Policy outlines the specific circumstances under which we may grant a refund.

Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a full or partial refund under the following specific circumstances:

Unused Credits (14-Day Window): If you purchased a credit package by mistake and have not consumed a single credit from that specific package, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. Once any purchased credit has been used for transcription processing, the package is considered "opened" and is no longer eligible for a cash refund.

Duplicate Billing: If you were accidentally charged more than once for the same transaction due to a payment processing error, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charges.

Technical Issues and Credits Compensation

If the Service fails to generate a transcript due to a verified technical error on our end (e.g., system crash, backend parsing failure):

Please report the issue to our support team.

If we are unable to resolve the parsing issue or deliver the transcript within 48 hours of your report, we will, at our sole discretion, issue a Credit Compensation directly to your account balance.

Note: For technical issues occurring after credits have been consumed, refunds will be handled via credit replenishment rather than direct cash refunds to your payment provider.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

To protect the integrity of our Service and prevent abuse, refunds will NOT be granted in the following situations:

Partial Usage / Change of Mind: You have used a portion of your purchased credits and want a cash refund for the remaining unused balance.

User Error: You provided an incorrect, private, deleted, or inaccessible video URL from social media networks.

TikTok Free Tier: Since all transcriptions executed for TikTok URLs consume zero credits (100% free under our special promotion active until December 31, 2026), no refund or credit requests can be made based on TikTok processing.

Platform Changes (Force Majeure): Transcript365 relies on third-party platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.). If these external platforms make updates or API blocks that temporarily affect our parsing, this is considered a force majeure event and does not qualify for automatic refunds.

How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, please contact our official support team before initiating any third-party claims:

Required Details: Please include the email address used for the purchase, the transaction receipt, and a brief description of the issue (including screenshots of any system errors).

We aim to review and respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.

Processing of Refunds

If your refund request is approved:

The refund will be issued to your original payment method via our Merchant of Record (Paddle).

Refunds are typically processed on our end within 3 business days. Please allow additional time for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your local bank's processing times.

Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits will be permanently removed from your account balance.

Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend or restrict access to the Service while the dispute is under investigation. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, access to the Service may be restored in accordance with our policies.
