Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Transcript365, a service operated by Beijing Jimu Zhonghe Technology Co., Ltd. (“Transcript365,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, applications, browser extensions, transcription tools, translation tools, subtitle-generation features, and related services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Transcript365 provides automated transcription and transcript translation services for audio and video content. You may upload files, submit directly accessible media URLs, or use supported platform links (for example, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, and RedNote/Xiaohongshu) to generate text transcripts for content you own, are authorized to process, or are otherwise legally permitted to use.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Credits & Payments

a. Credit System

We use a prepaid credit system. Each minute of transcription consumes credits at the rate displayed on our site. 1 credit = 1 minute of audio/video.

b. Purchasing Credits

You may purchase credit packs through our authorized payment processor or merchant of record. All payments are processed securely, and we do not store your full payment card details.

Payments Processed by Paddle

Purchases made through Transcript365 may be processed and fulfilled by Paddle.com, which acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for those transactions. Where Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you purchase the applicable credits or services from Paddle, and Transcript365 provides access to and use of the Service.

Paddle is responsible for payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, payment receipts, and payment-related refund administration in accordance withPaddle’s Buyer Terms andPaddle’s Refund Policy. Your use of Transcript365 remains subject to these Terms of Service.

c. Credit Validity

  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • If credits remain unused for 12 consecutive months, they become inactive (they are not deleted).
  • Inactive credits are automatically reactivated upon any new credit purchase. When reactivated, the validity period for all credits in your account resets to 12 months from the reactivation date.

d. Account Inactivity

If your account has no transcription activity (i.e., no transcription request submitted) and no credit purchase for 24 consecutive months, we may delete your account after providing notice. Any remaining credits will be forfeited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Transcript365 only for lawful transcription and translation workflows. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal basis to submit any file, URL, transcript, subtitle, or other content to the service.

You agree not to:

  • Upload or submit content that violates any law, third-party rights, privacy rights, copyright, or applicable platform terms.
  • Submit private, login-protected, restricted, deleted, or otherwise inaccessible links, or attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls, DRM, platform restrictions, or technical protections.
  • Use the service to download, rip, redistribute, or make unauthorized copies of original audio or video content.
  • Use transcripts, subtitles, captions, or translations generated by the service in a way that infringes another party's rights or violates applicable laws.
  • Use the service for illegal or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

5. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

Transcript365 is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, RedNote/Xiaohongshu, or any other third-party platform. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or supported workflows.

6. Intellectual Property

  • We retain all rights to the service, including its software, design, and content.
  • You retain ownership of your uploaded content and transcripts. We do not claim any rights over your content beyond providing the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and any remaining credits are forfeited.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that transcripts will be error‑free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any content will be secure or not lost.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transcript365 and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the service owner has its principal place of business, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts located in that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
